A new chapter for Dragon Osteopaths
Saying goodbye to Lucy
After more than 20 years caring for patients in Egham and Sunningdale, Lucy Scott has made the decision to move to Devon to be closer to her family.
Anyone who has been treated by Lucy will know what an exceptional osteopath she is. Her warmth, kindness and dedication have helped countless people over the years, and while we're incredibly sad to see her leave, we're also excited for this next chapter in her life.
Lucy has written a personal message to her patients:
“It is with a mix of sadness and excitement that I’m writing to let you know I will be leaving Dragon Osteopaths on 13th August. After twenty one incredible years practicing osteopathy in this community, I have decided to move down to Devon to be closer to the sea and help out my family.
Caring for you has been the privilege of my professional life. Thank you so much for trusting me with your health, sharing your stories, and making my time here so rewarding. I am going to miss our sessions immensely and I have honesty enjoyed working out the puzzles and, occasionally unusual issues, you bring to the clinic.
Please don't worry about your ongoing treatment, as you are in excellent hands. Chloe, who worked with us at Still House, and Ashley are ready to take over your care straight away. They are fantastic practitioners, and our whole team will make sure your transition is completely seamless.
Your medical notes will stay safely and securely here at the clinic. If you stay with us for your treatment, you don't need to do a thing—the team can access your files automatically. If you plan to see someone outside of our practice please let us know if you wish to get your notes transferred. I am available till the 14th August if you have any queries and the team are also happy to be contacted directly. All contact information is available on the website.
I am really looking forward to this next chapter by the coast, but I will always treasure the past 21 years.
I wish you all the very best for the future, with plenty of health and happiness.
Warmest wishes,
Lucy

Mark is taking some time away from Dragon
Our lovely Mark has stepped away from the clinic for a little while to take some time for himself.
He isn’t currently available for appointments and we don’t yet have a date for his return, but the door at Dragon is very much open and we hope to welcome him back in the future.
For now, we like to imagine he’s found himself a quiet cave and is getting some well-earned rest on a particularly comfortable pile of gold. 🐉
In the meantime, the rest of the Dragon team are here as usual and happy to help.

Ashley and Lizzie settling into the team
As one Dragon leaves, two new faces have been settling in brilliantly!
Ashley Gorton joined the Dragon Osteopaths team last month and has already become a familiar face at the clinic. An experienced osteopath with a calm, friendly approach, Ashley has a particular interest in sports injuries and headache management and enjoys helping people return to the activities that matter to them.
Ashley is available, alongside Chloe and Emma, to continue the care of Lucy's patients and we're delighted to have him as part of the Dragons team.
Physiotherapist Lizzie Shakinovsky has also been settling into life at Dragons and is now running her specialist shoulder clinic each week from our Sunningdale practice.
Lizzie is a highly experienced physiotherapist with a specialist interest in shoulder conditions, providing expert assessment and rehabilitation for people experiencing sports injuries, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff pain and other ongoing shoulder problems.
It's been lovely having both Ashley and Lizzie become part of the Dragons team, and we're delighted to see them settling in so well.
You can read more about Ashley and Lizzie on our Meet the Team page.
Finally, if you'd like to receive occasional clinic news, updates and helpful information from Dragon Osteopaths, we'd love to keep in touch. You can subscribe to our mailing list at any time, and you can unsubscribe whenever you wish.

Welcoming Emma to Dragon Osteopaths
|
Our team is growing again as we welcome Emma Billen to Dragon Osteopaths.
Emma graduated from the University of Derby with a Bachelor of Osteopathy and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. She treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and has a particular interest in women's health, including supporting women during pregnancy, post-natal care and through different stages of life. As a mum of three, Emma brings her own understanding of the physical demands of pregnancy and motherhood. Before becoming an osteopath, she worked as a baby and toddler swimming instructor and provided aqua-natal yoga sessions for pregnant women – work which first introduced her to osteopathy. We're delighted to welcome Emma to Dragon and look forward to introducing her to our patients. |
To learn more about Emma or to book an appointment, please visit our Meet the Team page or get in touch.
